TAMCO Malaysia & Ahmednagar, India are the lead R&D centers for Air Insulated Switchgears (AIS), Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) & Ring Main Switches (RMU) research and development.
The R&D activities revolves around Innovation & Renovation. With innovation as the driving force, we have been able to come out with most compact AIS, GIS & RMU products, which put us at the forefront of emerging products worldwide. Whereas renovation makes sure that our existing products remain updated with fast changing IEC standards.
TAMCO R&D has the in-house capability of designing, validation & simulation of AIS, GIS & RMU products. Type test of the products are performed at various international laboratories like CESI, KEMA, IPH etc.
TAMCO R&D is capable of designing primary distribution switchgear upto 40KV 50kA with continuous current upto 4000A. The in-house validation tests facilities available are:
